Tri Tiny Art

Established October 6, 2021, the South Columbia Creative District (SOCO) has a grassroots mission to highlight Kennewick’s creative identity and increase its economic vitality by uplifting, encouraging, incubating, promoting, and developing the arts and creative businesses. SOCO is the only Creative District located within Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco, Washington.

Tri Tiny Art Small Scale Art Showcase is an annual, live sale fundraiser for SOCO Creative District taking place during the Creative Arts Festival in Downtoawn Kennewick. Your purchase of tiny art will help SOCO:

  • Financially foster future local artists and District projects

  • Encourage art exploration through an 8" x 8" x 8" format

  • Create connections between emerging, mid-career, and established creatives

HOW TINY IS TINY?

2D works (such as oils, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, pencil, graphite, ink, photography, digital art, or other), must fit within an 8" x 8" space, including any framing.

3D works (such as glass, metal, wood, clay, stone, bronze, textile, jewelry, or other) must fit within an 8" x 8" x 8" space.

Tri Tiny Art is open to:

  • Young & Emerging Creatives Ages 16-20

  • Community Creatives Ages 21+

who can participate?
what kind of art is accepted?  

All mediums are welcome!

  • Glass, Metal, Wood, Clay, Stone, Bronze, Textile, Jewelry, Oils, Acrylic, Watercolor, Mixed Media, Pastel, Pencil, Graphite, Ink, Photography, Digital Art, and more!

  • Copies, kits, reproductions, or AI works are not eligible.

  • You provide your own materials and talent!

  • You may price your work $1-$300. Pricing must reflect skill level.

  • For every work sold, 70% of the proceeds is returned to the artist, 30% of the proceeds are given to the SOCO Creative District in the form of a donation.

  • Here’s an example: If your art sells for $50:

    30% of $50 = $15

    70% of $50 = $35

    SOCO receives $15!

    You get paid $35!

Young & Emerging Creatives Ages 16-20 can submit 1-6 pieces.

Community Creatives Ages 21+ can submit 1-3 pieces.
